Yay! A new entry from Duff, I can't wait.
Anyways, I'll make this quick because I need to get back to work. This week has been going well. I've nearly completed both characters, the poly counts are right on and I'm touching up the textures. Hopefully next week I'll get them looking real purty in the 3D engine and start to help Alex with the level design.
Duff Man
I guess I should start this thing by first introducing myself and how I came to be working with the group. To most everyone who knows me I am Duff, a matter of convenience I suppose, but all and all a cool nickname.
Anyways, I'm from the North Shore area of Massacusetts, (I'm a die hard Sox fan) and attendend the Pingree School, where I met Sean who was also into gaming, albeit a bit more than me. Besides computer games, I've always been a comic book fan and they were responsible for me into art from a young age, and why I deceided to be an Art major. Additionally, I am also an avid writer, and devote alot of my free time to my novel. Nothing has been published yet but I'm working on it. Lastly, I am an avid runner and competed all through high school and college and trying to keep at it now, but its tough without teammates and a coach.
This past spring, I was finishing up my last semester at Connecticut College, without any direction for the coming summer. Like alot of people, I didn't have a job, and although I was considerng grad school I didnt really know what I wanted to study. Sometime in April I was talking to Sean and he asked me if i would be interested in joining a video game company. It was an enticing offer, I could get on the ground floor and have limitless creative freedom. So, in June I packed up my stuff and headed out to Rochester.
